Guidelines for manuscript preparation for ICAPSM 2025
We advise every author to follow the ethical guidelines and COPE guidelines while preparing the full length papers for submission at ICAPSM 2025. Please check the following before submitting your full length paper:
- CRP should perfectly follow the single column manuscript template.
- All the references listed in the reference list should be cited inside the text and only papers which are directly related to the manuscript should only be included as references.
- All the figures and tables should be of high quality/definition.
- References which are not relevant to the paper should not be included. Breaching this will result in the paper being excluded from the submission to the publisher for publication.
- Authors should be more cautious while including their own papers in the reference list (self-citation). References which are not related to the paper and also systematic inclusion of self-citations will result in the paper being excluded from the submission.
- If two or more papers by the same author have been accepted, the corresponding author should make sure that there is no significant overlap in the papers with respect to the content and also concept.
- Reference list should perfectly follow the unique template of referencing such as author names, title of the paper, journal/conference name, pagination, volume/issue number and year of publication. Do not include the DoI in the reference list.
- No author name shall be included or replaced in the final version of the paper. Author names and order in the Camera Ready Paper / revised paper should be same as the initially submitted paper.
- Important note – Manipulations in the manuscript in any form such as intentionally including citations, similarity and AI/ChatGPT written content can’t be accepted. Papers involving in any of the above cases will be removed from the proceedings and will not be submitted to the publisher for publication. The conference has full rights to remove such papers at any stage from initial screening to final submission to the publisher (if found in the later stage after conference and before publication). In such cases, registration fees will not be refunded.
General Camera Ready Paper (CRP) preparation guidelines
Please check the following before submitting final camera paper:
1. Please make sure that the plagiarism score of the camera ready paper is below 25%
2. All the figure, tables are numbered properly in order and captioned
3. All the figures and tables given in the paper are cited in the text in appropriate places. (This is very important that all the figures/tables should be mentioned in the text)
4. The title of the paper and authors names and affiliations are correct with proper spacing and perfect details.
5. E-mail id of the corresponding author has been provided before the abstract.
6. Title should be clear and reflect the content of the paper precisely.
7. Author(s) name and affiliations are in order (Do not include the designation of authors such as Lecturer, Professor, Research scholar, student and so on..)
8. Do not include prefix to any authors such as Dr., Mr and so on..
9. Please pay attention and ensure the the language of the paper is good.
10. Citations of the references in the body of the paper is in line with IOP template.
11. Proposed method has been clearly explained.
12. The organization of the paper is good.
13. All the figures and graphs given in the paper are in good resolution.
14. All the equations are typed using equation editor software.
15. Reference list is in accordance format. This is most important since we found the wrong format in a lot of papers.
16. Do not include the author(s) biography at the end of the paper.
17. Please do not use first person pronouns such as I, we, us and extra throughout the paper.
18. In the acknowledgement section, do not acknowledge the co-authors and also the affiliated Institute/center.
The camera ready papers in Microsoft office word document shall be submitted to the same mail id (icapsm2025@gmail.com) as soon as possible. Other formats of the camera ready paper such as pdf alone WILL NOT BE accepted by the ICAPSM publication office. However, the pdf formats will be accepted if the paper had been written in Latex provided that the pdf version of the camera ready paper strictly follows the template.
